I have to say, recovery rooms are not quite where I want to spend my evenings.
And, thank God, I haven’t been forced to.
Recovery happens–in and outside of the rooms.
I work the steps in every day life, but, when I need support, I do consider going. It’s not a bad idea to. I mean, that’s what they’re there for.
It’s just annoying when you think you already know everything <ha ha>.
Which reminds me.
I have a calling to become a professional counselor. And I believe higher education is not only important, but crucial.
Even if I happen to be prophetic.
Even if I have many of the skills and attributes that make a good counselor.
Even if I am doing my own work.
Education and the ability to learn are gifts from our High God.
And it’s never a waste of time or money.
